Free access to Kopperfield tools for qualified electrical inspectors.
The Kopperfield Inspector Program helps inspectors review electrical calculations and documentation more efficiently while helping contractors submit cleaner, more complete applications.
Participants receive complimentary access to designated Kopperfield tools for official inspection work and may provide contractors with free trial access to Kopperfield when appropriate.
Participation in this program does not imply endorsement of Kopperfield or its products.
Inspectors receive no compensation, commissions, referral fees, gifts, discounts, or other financial incentives for participating in the program or providing contractor trial access.
Contractors are not required to use Kopperfield to obtain permits, approvals, inspections, or any other authorization from an AHJ.
The purpose of the program is to improve the quality of electrical calculations and documentation submitted for review while preserving the independence and neutrality of inspectors.
The program is available to individuals who:
Third-party inspection agencies may qualify if they perform inspection services on behalf of an AHJ.
The program is not available to retired inspectors or individuals who no longer perform inspection work.
By applying, you confirm that participation is permitted under your employer's policies and any applicable ethics or conduct rules, and that you are authorized to accept complimentary access for official use.
Kopperfield may request proof of eligibility at any time.
Eligibility, participation, renewal, and continued access are determined by Kopperfield in its sole discretion.
Approved participants receive complimentary access to designated Kopperfield tools for use in their official inspection duties.
Access is granted for up to 12 months unless earlier terminated. Renewal, extension, and continued participation are subject to Kopperfield's discretion.
Program benefits, features, support levels, and included tools may change over time.
Participants may be permitted to provide contractors with free trial access to Kopperfield through methods made available by Kopperfield, including links, invitations, or QR codes.
Unless otherwise specified:
Contractors are not required to use Kopperfield to obtain permits, approvals, inspections, or any other authorization from an AHJ.
Inspectors may provide trial access as an informational resource only. Inspectors are not acting as sales representatives, referral partners, or agents of Kopperfield.
Kopperfield may limit or remove a participant's ability to issue trials if the program is abused or used in a manner inconsistent with its purpose.
Program access is provided to the individual participant and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or used by others.
Access may be used only in connection with the participant's inspection, plan review, code enforcement, or related professional responsibilities.
If a participant also performs electrical contracting, consulting, design, or other commercial work outside their inspection duties, those activities are not covered by this program and may require a separate paid subscription.
Participants are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and notifying Kopperfield if they no longer qualify for the program.
Participants are not employees, agents, representatives, or partners of Kopperfield.

Participation in the program does not constitute an endorsement, requirement, certification, or preference for Kopperfield by the participant, the participant's employer, or the participant's AHJ.
Participation in the program does not create any obligation for contractors, permit applicants, or members of the public to use Kopperfield.
Contractors remain free to prepare and submit calculations, diagrams, and documentation using any method acceptable to the applicable AHJ.
Kopperfield's tools are intended to assist with calculations, diagrams, documentation, and code research.
The tools do not replace professional judgment.
Kopperfield does not provide electrical inspection services, engineering services, code enforcement services, or legal advice.
Outputs generated by Kopperfield should be independently reviewed before being relied upon for permitting, inspection, compliance, or other professional decisions.
Participants are responsible for exercising their own professional judgment and for all inspection decisions, code interpretations, approvals, rejections, and compliance determinations.
Kopperfield's tools are provided "as is" and "as available," and are subject to the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations contained in Kopperfield's Terms of Service.
Information provided during application or renewal may be used to verify eligibility and administer the program. Credential documents submitted for verification are not publicly displayed.
Kopperfield may state, in its own communications (including communications with contractors and prospective customers), that an AHJ, jurisdiction, inspection agency, or its inspectors participate in the Kopperfield Inspector Program.
Such statements are intended solely to identify program participation and the availability of designated Kopperfield tools for inspection use, and not to imply endorsement, certification, requirement, or preference by any participant, AHJ, employer, governmental agency, or inspection organization.
Nothing in the program creates any obligation for a contractor, permit applicant, or member of the public to use Kopperfield.
Kopperfield's Privacy Policy also applies to participation in the program and governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in connection with the program.
All software, content, and materials provided through the program remain the property of Kopperfield and its licensors.
Participation grants a limited, non-transferable right to use the software in accordance with these terms and Kopperfield's Terms of Service.
Kopperfield may, in its sole discretion:
Access may be terminated if a participant no longer qualifies, violates these terms, abuses the program, or if the program is discontinued.
Kopperfield may terminate participation at any time if it reasonably believes continued participation could create legal, ethical, regulatory, or reputational risk.
Kopperfield may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation in the program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Participation in the Inspector Program is also subject to Kopperfield's Terms of Service and any applicable subscription terms.
